The Triennial of Textile, without borders is a non-profit organization with the primary goal of presenting contemporary global textile art. Our mission is to create a meaningful and communicative space in the heart of Europe for professional textile artists through exhibitions, workshops, lectures, and educational programs for students from high schools and universities of art.

The name of the exhibition and related activities is

  • Textile Art of Today

Our goal is to raise widespread awareness of textile art, its professional creation, the blending of national cultures, and the free meeting and creation of artists from various countries.

The motto of the 7th edition of the exhibition is:

  • Art that Unites

The ambition is to present textile art in new dimensions, not only as classic hanging textile images but also in other forms and contexts, such as textile sculptures, concepts, objects, installations, videos, fashion artifacts, and scenographic motifs. We aim to expand the perception of textile creation through new media (for example, through applications that reflect current textile art in a globalized cultural world).

Textile Art of Today primarily focuses on the following areas:

  • Presenting current trends in textile art on a global scale.
  • Connecting artists from different countries through creative workshops.
  • Developing educational activities for art students through lectures and workshops across various art schools.
  • Promoting interest in textile art and encouraging artists to adopt innovative and experimental approaches, pushing beyond the boundaries of the traditional art form.

Through Textile Art of Today, we foster a dialogue among artists working in various textile techniques. We aim to spark interest in this art form, even among artists who have not previously worked in textiles (bringing new approaches) and among students and educators from diverse countries.
