The 7th edition of TEXTILE ART OF TODAY is an international exhibition of contemporary textile art. The project’s goal is to shift the perception of classical textile art toward reflecting the modern era, full of modern technologies and responses to both global and local issues as perceived by artists.

Article 2
ORGANIZERS, DATE, AND LOCATION
The organizer of the 7th edition of Textile Art of Today is the Triennial of Textile Art, without borders, an NGO.

The statute for the 7th edition of Textile Art of Today is issued.
Location and Date of the Opening Ceremony: October 3, 2025, Castle in Hlohovec (about 60 km from Bratislava, Slovak Republic).
Duration of the exhibition: to December 31, 2025.
Re-installation of the Project: First half of 2026: Danubiana Meulensteen Art Museum, Čunovo (about 15 km from downtown Bratislava, Slovak Republic).

Article 3
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Selected artists will participate in the 7th edition of Textile Art of Today.
Works eligible for the exhibition include classic textile pieces as well as innovative approaches. Experimental and non-traditional approaches in creating of art works that push the boundaries of textile art (innovative techniques, modern technologies, and current issues in the global world) will also be accepted.
Each artist can submit a maximum of two art works created between 2021 and the present, with a total maximum dimension of 5 m² (for three-dimensional works, a maximum of 2 m³ in total). The maximum weight of the works, including packaging, can be up to 10 kg. Artists must complete and submit an application along with photographs of their works for the selection process via our online form on the website by April 30, 2025.
The organizer reserves the right to select works that exceed the maximum dimensions. The organizer also reserves the right not to display all works in all exhibition spaces, depending on the spatial, financial, and installation possibilities of the venue. The installation of selected works will be handled by the 7th edition of Textile Art of Today. If the artist has specific installation requirements, these must be submitted in writing along with the works.
The participant is responsible for the transportation and insurance costs of their works from the origin to the organizer, labeled with Textile Art of Today. The costs for returning the works after the exhibition will be covered by the organizer, unless otherwise agreed with the artist.
Participation in the 7th edition of Textile Art of Today is subject to a participation fee of € 35, due by April 30, 2025, to the following account:

Label: „Textile Art of Today 2025“
Selected works must be delivered between August 10, 2025, and September 10, 2025. This date is binding.
The participant must ensure that the works are safely packaged to avoid damage during multiple handling.
Shipping and insurance costs for works sent to the exhibition with the label Textile Art of Today are covered by the participant. Return shipping after the exhibition is covered by the organizer, unless otherwise agreed with the artist.
Each selected participant agrees to the full publication of their work in media and the exhibition catalog (for promotional purposes labeled “7th edition Textile Art of Today”).
Article 4
FINANCING OF THE TRIENNIAL OF TEXTILES WITHOUT BORDERS
The financial costs associated with the organization will be partly covered by the 7th edition of Textile Art of Today from its own resources, from the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic grant, other grants, foundations, and from sponsorship contributions. The budgeted funds are supplemented by the participation fee as per Article 3 of this statute. The 7th edition of Textile Art of Today will accept sponsorship contributions (donations) through a donation agreement, specifically earmarked for the exhibitions of the 7th edition of Textile Art of Today. The Triennial of Textiles, without borders, o.z., will enter into advertising contracts related to the preparation, organization, and documentation of the Triennial of Textiles.
Article 5
PROFESSIONAL CURATORIAL COUNCIL AND EXPERT JURY
At the suggestion of the members of the 7th edition of Textile Art of Today, the director of the 7th edition of Textile Art of Today will appoint an international professional curatorial council and an expert jury, consisting of prominent figures from the fields of visual arts, culture, art theory, criticism, and public life. The curatorial council selects the works to be exhibited in the 7th edition of Textile Art of Today. The expert jury helds the awards of the 7th edition of Textile Art of Today.
DOCUMENTATION OF TEXTILE ART OF TODAY
The documentation of the preparation is handled by the 7th edition of Textile Art of Today, and on the day of the exhibition’s opening, the main organizer of the 7th edition of Textile Art of Today will publish a catalog listing the authors and exhibited works.
